We are your fellow students from the Student Council TUM School of Management (Fachschaft TUM SOM) and we like to organize events for you: From small gatherings to important career events! But above all…

We are here to help you get off to a good start in your first semester.

You can always contact us with questions, suggestions and wishes concerning your studies. Just write us an E-Mail.

Are you interested in joining the Student Council? Do you want to meet new friends and organize events alongside other students? Or are you interested in university politics and want to shape your studies while expressing your opinion? Come join us in one of our general meetings (every second Tuesday) and find out what we can do together

Do you want to get to know new people from your study program? We already have the right events planned for you, no matter if you are in Munich or anywhere else around the world! Make sure to subscribe to our channels so that you don’t miss an event, deadline or any other information!

EVENTS FOR YOU!

We are happy to announce that we are organizing loads of events for you! Take the chance to meet your fellow students, make new friends and have a good time in Munich!

LARGE GET-TOGETHERS / "STAMMTISCHE"
Are you looking forward to large in-person gatherings with your fellow students? Then, this is the right opportunity for you! All first-semester students are more than welcome to register for our traditional Stammtisch at Munich’s finest Beer Gardens.

Get the chance to enjoy a beer (or two, three…) while getting to know your fellow students. Can’t wait to see you there!

SMALL CAFÉ & BAR GET-TOGETHERS
Want to get to know some of your fellow freshers while enjoying a coffee or drink? This is the perfect opportunity for you! These smaller get-togethers in groups of 10- 15 students are designed to chat, meet people and have fun before and during the first week of your studies.
All first-semester students are invited to participate at our freshers’ Cafe and Bar Get-Together.
- When: April 17-19
  
  Cafe get-togethers starts at 4pm
  
  Bar get-together starts at 8pm
- Where: Surprise! (You will get an email a few days before confirming the place)

CAMPUS TOUR
Get to know the Main Campus in Munich! Among others, you will learn where to find the library, the mensa and the student council rooms (where you can always pay us a visit!).
- When: 13th of April
- Where: At the Main Campus!
- Registration: The Campus Tours will take place during the Welcome Day organized by the TUM School of Management.
HIKING TRIP
Hiking in Bavaria is as diverse as the landscape itself! Join us and other TUM-SOM Freshers to explore the beauty of Bavarian nature.

There will be a hiking trips again this semester. Due to limited space, one person can only register for one trip.

LIBRARY TOURS
Get to know your Library! Join one of the virtual tours of the main campus library and learn how you can borrow books, where you can study in the library and how you can access useful resources in the library’s online portal.
You can see the dates and times, the language (english/german) and the registration link on this webpage.

You can now register through TUMonline by clicking on “Courses” (“Lehrveranstaltungen”) and typing in the number 0000002268 or
0000002272.
