Which Master fits you?

MMT is the classic follow-up for TUM-BWL Bachelors, Management is made for engineering and science graduates, and Consumer Science is the interdisciplinary option around behaviour and consumer research. The details of each are below.

Munich or Heilbronn

The Master in Management can be studied on both campuses. Munich focuses on Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Management & Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain, Finance & Accounting and Economics; Heilbronn adds Family Enterprises and Digital Transformation.

Application

All Master programmes run through TUM's aptitude assessment (Eignungsverfahren): apply online via TUMonline with transcripts, CV and an essay or motivation task, and expect a possible interview. Deadlines and required documents are on the official programme pages, start collecting early.

Before you start

Once you are admitted: enroll on time, get your student card, and join the Master O-Phase and our Master Stammtisch to meet your cohort. Popular first-semester modules fill up fast, so register in TUMonline in the first window.

Three Master programmes at the TUM School of Management, pick the one that fits your background and ambition.

Management & Technology (MMT)

2 years · 4 semesters · 30 ECTS / semester

German and English (can be studied up to 100% in English)

The MMT replaces the former TUM-BWL and TUM WITEC Masters. It combines management with a technological specialization, creating a unique skill set requested by more and more employers.

Consumer Science

2 years · 4 semesters

An interdisciplinary Master combining management, behavioural science and consumer research. Designed for students who want to understand how people make decisions, and how products and services should be built around them.
