Hughes longport pottery Vinted Bed pan Hughes Longport, a pottery company formerly based in Longport, England. Hughes Longport operated from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. The mark features a lion above the text "HUGHES LONGPORT" and "MADE IN ENGLAND." Thomas Hughes initially purchased the Longport Pottery in 1888, renaming it the Unicorn Works. The business was known as Thomas Hughes & Son from 1895 until around 1910 when it became a limited company. Hughes Longport produced various items, including teaware, serving dishes, and bed pans pieces.
