This is the catalog from the "Shaker Design" exhibition held at the Sezon Museum in 1992, which showcased the historical heritage of the Shakers. Hiroshi Fujikado participated as a guest curator. This exhibition was the first of its kind in 22 years, following the display of Shaker furniture in a corner of the American Pavilion at the 1970 Osaka Expo. The catalog features numerous designs left behind by the Shakers, who sought a pure, stoic, yet rational and harmonious life, including bedrooms, furniture, and woodworking.
