A beautiful combination of sterling silver plated pewter that makes the crystal cabochons pop!
The Celtic Knotwork was used to illustrate the Book of Kells and the Book of Durrow by ancient monks (monks who started the Book of Kells on the island of Iona, Scotland). Celtic knotwork is widely used and seen across Scotland and Ireland. This symbol is said to bring good luck, health, or prosperity, or to represent luck and long life.
The Brooch is made by Historic Connections Scotland. The brooch measures 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches. Overall, the Brooch is in good condition. There is slight tarnish, which you can see in the pictures. Includes original box. The box back flap is loose.
