You will need a memory card for the recording.
It does not come with the parking monitor as it turns off after car shuts down. I found out that you will need to buy that parking component separately and depending on your vehicle, you will get the correct component.
This is like new and plastic coverings has been removed. It has a camera to also record inside the vehicle. Great for road trips and record unforseen events on the roads. The back up camera hasn't been used and that is also included. The screen can be set to shut off during the drive so it won't distract you while driving. Has many other features.
This is really great to have. My husband doesn't like having anything on our windshield. This camera captured the car that hit my car after I've parked. I was able to report the hit and run because it took a video of the car parked next to mine when I parked that hit my car after I left.
