The Axis 5504-641 is a ceiling mount that gives installers an easy path to attach Axis network cameras to a suspended ceiling without drilling or damaging tiles. The bracket sits directly on square or tegular grid rails and uses the existing framework for strength, so the tiles remain intact and the ceiling keeps its clean look.

This mount suits indoor locations such as retail aisles, bank teller areas, school hallways, and office corridors. An installer places the plate on the grid, secures an Axis camera or stand, adds an Axis Safety Wire if required, and routes the network cable. The mount carries up to 4.4 lb, enough for most fixed dome and compact PTZ cameras in the Axis portfolio. When the room layout changes, the camera can slide along the rail to cover a new entrance, cash register, or display without extra hardware.
