The 1983 Doubled Die Reverse (DDR) Lincoln cent is a rare and valuable error coin where the coin's reverse (tail side) features prominent doubling on all the lettering and designs due to the hub being misaligned when creating the die. This doubling is most noticeable in the words "1 CENT" and "E Pluribus Unum". The error is significant because it's the most dramatic doubled-die reverse in the entire Lincoln cent series.
