12-B 17-Inch Windmill Kit

This little 17 inch high windmill is a quality, made in the USA model of the American Style windmill that used to be seen on farms and ranches all over the Midwest. This windmill actually works and can be mounted outside, the tail keeps the wheel turned into the wind. The 5 inch wheel turns with the slightest breeze. The wheel has lubricant impregnated OILON Bearings, the top pivot turns on a brass bushing. The scale is close to G scale and also works with 027 model railroads. Or can go on a mantel, shelf or be used as part of a model diorama, table center piece or display. Can be mounted outside on a porch or deck rail, planter, window frame, in a rock garden or even on a rural mailbox. This is the original Aero model that has been made by the same Midwestern company since 1946. There are 12 other designs available. Comes as a kit in a 15X6X2 inch box. The kit includes full sized instructions. It takes a couple of hours to put together. Assembly is sort of like an old Erector kit with much smaller bolts and nuts. Bring a small bit of the country to your home, garden or patio. Wheel is 5 inches in diameter, Base is 5 X 5 inches, wheel to tip of tail is 8 inches, stands 17 inches high
