Pre-course in Informatics and Computer Engineering 2024

This summer semester, the Student Council TUM School of Management, together with the TUM School of Management, offered a pre-course in Informatics and Computer Engineering.

This course was specifically designed for students with little or no programming experience and provided an introduction to basic concepts such as classes, objects, methods and data types. The aim was to facilitate the decision-making process for choosing their technical specialisation.

Feedback from participants shows that the course accomplished this goal. The structure and organisation of the course, especially the use of interactive elements such as Artemis, was highly appreciated. This helped the students to understand the basic concepts and feel more confident with the tools they will be working with in the next semester.
